Apart from the excellent levels of comfort, the best thing about our apartments is their central location in the lovely city of Perpignan. The apartments are situated in the historic old quarter of the city, in a quiet street, just a stone’s throw away from the Place de la République.

Here you’ll find open-air markets, cafés, bistros, restaurants of every kind of cuisine, and – as it is also the home Perpignan’s old theatre – it is a natural focus for street performances and live entertainment in the summer months. In the balmy summer evenings, there’s nothing better than to sip a glass of rosé here at one of the tables on the square watching the world go by.

From here you can explore the winding streets of the old quarter, with many boutiques and shops featuring designer clothes, local foods and wines and quirky gifts. There are also a number of high street fashion brands here as well as the large Les Galeries Lafayette department store just across the canal.

Of course, there are plenty of other things to do besides shopping: you can also discover some of Perpignan’s historic and cultural heritage, or take in a rugby match – one of the local population’s greatest passions!

Perpignan is a very easy to get around by foot and you don’t necessarily need a car: taxis from Perpignan airport to Studio 5 cost around 20 Euros, or you can travel to Perpignan by train or bus - the stations are 20 minutes away by foot. The train and bus network is also a very cost effective way of exploring the region around Perpignan, with a special 1 Euro for 1-way bus trips currently available to many local destinations.

Some of the most popular places to visit outside of Perpignan are the sandy beaches, the picturesque Catalan villages and the magnificent Mount Canigou, to name just a few!
